Country music sensation Colt Ford suffered a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital late Thursday night.

Ford, who is most known for his “Workin’ On” single was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit at Mesa, Arizona’s Banner Desert Medical Center. He’s well known in the country music world and beyond after having 5 consecutive top 10 Billboard Country chart album debuts.

According to 12News, Ford had just finished his set while on tour with Dierks Bentley when the medical incident happened. The news outlet adds that he was stabilized, but still in critical condition as of last night.

TMZ reports that Colt had previously been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Myasthenia Gravis – but it’s unclear if that played a role in the heart attack.

Ford had previously spoken about dealing with the disease and how it affected him – including having no control over his right eye at times.
