Dr. Yavin Chen, MBA, FAHA; The OHSU Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine’s new research vice chair has been awarded the 2024 Atherosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology (ATVB) Award for Outstanding Leadership by Women from the American Heart Association’s ATVB Women’s Leadership Committee Council. Received the Women’s Leadership Committee Award.

This award recognizes Chen as an ATVB Council member who has demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in mentoring, supporting, advocating, and sponsoring women in the ATVB field. She will receive the award during the Vascular Discovery 2024 Scientific Sessions conference in May.

OHSU Family Medicine Richmond receives award for quality improvement

Moore Institute selected for national nutrition initiative

The OHSU Bob and Charlie Moore Institute for Nutrition and Health is part of President Biden’s National Strategy on Hunger, Nutrition and Health, which is part of the White House’s mission to end hunger, improve nutrition and health, and reduce disparities. Selected to support the initiative.
