Company officials said that with the start of operations of this medical center, heart diseases in the country will be treated.

The Nangarhar Public Health Department called on the domestic private sector and traders to increase investment in health services.

Nangarhar Public Health Director Aminullah Sharif also said that many medical centers in Suruk Road area need capacity building and the budget has been approved.

“We used to have a center here, but now it is used for the pediatric department of Nangarhar province. Most hospitals need accommodations to meet the standards and we have proposed this to the ministry. “We call on all traders to come forward and carry out such basic work,” said Nangarhar Public Health Director. told TOLOnews.

Local residents say authorities have promised to build a standard three-story medical center for them.
