Women naturally experience unique life stages that increase their risk of developing cardiovascular disease throughout their lives. Although the majority of cardiac events are preventable, cardiovascular disease remains the greatest threat to women’s health, with nearly 45% of women over the age of 20 having some form of CVD.[1] The women of Women of Impact are paving the way for the future of women’s heart health, helping more women live longer, healthier lives.
