Ford, real name Jason Farris Brown, is prominent in the country-rap music scene and has been featured on several songs with other country music stars.

He co-wrote “Dirt Road Anthem” with Brantley Gilbert, and the duo wrote the song before Jason Aldean made it famous on his 2010 album, My Kinda Party. It was originally recorded.

Ford has also collaborated with a variety of stars, including Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Walker Hayes, Toby Keith, Lady A, and Willie Nelson.

In 2022, Ford was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, a chronic neuromuscular autoimmune disease that causes voluntary muscle weakness.

The singer previously said that the disease affected her eyes more than her throat or face.

“It didn’t really affect my throat, but it affected my eyes a lot. I couldn’t control my right eye,” Colt told Taste of Country in 2023. I could see perfectly with either eye, but if you looked at them together, you would see three people and they would blend together like a lava lamp. ”

A year ago, he announced that he had been diagnosed with eye cancer, but was caught early enough to avoid full chemotherapy.

“My doctor told me I had a week to 10 days left until I had to undergo full chemotherapy,” he told PEOPLE at the time.

According to the newspaper, he underwent surgery after his diagnosis and returned to the stage a few days later.
