The “Times We Had” singer suffered a heart attack after performing at an Arizona bar on Thursday, April 4.

Ford finished the show, but shortly after, sirens were heard in response to Ford’s heart attack. He was rushed to the ICU.

The country music artist has since been transferred to Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, a spokesperson for the singer told 12News. His last known condition was “stable but critical.”

Kelly Williams, one of the concertgoers who saw Ford perform, told the press: They interact with the audience on stage. ”

Shortly after the concert, Williams said she was walking back to her car and “kept hearing the sirens. And when we heard that, I was like, ‘Oh, I hope he’s okay.’ It felt like,” she says.

Another witness who spoke with TMZ said the security guard ran inside the bar after hearing the officer yell that someone had passed out behind the bar.

The heart attack came three years after the 53-year-old country music singer revealed his eye cancer diagnosis.

“I remember going to a doctor in Georgia who specialized in things like cataracts and being told, ‘This isn’t good,’ and ‘This needs to be fixed,'” he told People magazine at the time. “I was asked to see Dr. Uyen Tran, a cornea specialist in Nashville. That’s when I started getting really nervous.”

“The doctors told me I have a week to 10 days left until I have to undergo full chemotherapy,” the artist added.

After battling eye cancer, he was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called myasthenia gravis, which he says was “a tough time.” This is a disease and there is no cure,” he told Taste of Country.

Ford said the autoimmune disease “affects the muscles in the face, eyes and throat. It didn’t affect my throat as much, but it affected my eyes a lot. I couldn’t control my right eye. It’s really bothersome. ” he said. I could see perfectly with either eye, but if you looked together you would see the three of you, melting together like a lava lamp. ”

The country music singer also admitted that he feels extremely fatigued due to myasthenia gravis.

“During July last year, we played 20 shows and averaged 17 hours of sleep a day,” he said. “There’s a terrible fatigue factor that comes from that. They say there’s no cure, but this doctor has me taking these supplements and they’re really helping me. I feel so much better than before. I’m in a good place.”

The 53-year-old explained how being human helped him get through the difficult years in his life. “I love being with people,” he told Taste of Country. I feel like I’m on the other side. I’m out of that hole now and I’m not going back there. ”

Two years after her eye surgery, Ford said she is “in a lot better shape” and “feels great.”

“My life is in a great place. I’m getting married in October.” [2023]. I found my person. And I’m as happy and excited as ever about music, which is kind of incredible. I feel like I’m not even done making my best music,” he told Taste of Country.
