“It’s a feel-good product for a good cause,” Jansen said. “My sister’s son Theo was born with a congenital heart defect that not many people know about.”

After undergoing multiple open heart surgeries and treatments, Theo passed away. He was only 6 months old.

“I felt completely helpless and didn’t know how to help or what to do. I just wanted to comfort her, which is what I want. “,” Janssen said.

“We’ve raised over $600,000 for congenital heart disease. So every dollar we get goes directly to congenital heart disease, with a focus on funding research. ,” Jansen said.

According to the Children’s Heart Foundation, nearly 1 in 110 babies in the United States is born with a congenital heart defect.

That’s why Andrea Shipbaugh loves supporting.

“I have one of every color,” Shipbaugh said. “I’ve worked directly with kids on Project Boubaloo, and it gives me a sense of gratitude and allows me to see how we can give back.”

Meanwhile, Theo’s trace lives on.

“There are so many grateful families out there who take comfort in knowing they are not alone,” Jansen said.
