Lauren East and Lauren Duke have been named co-chairs of the 2024 American Heart Association Heart Bowl of Tarrant County, along with honorary co-chairs Ben Rosenthal and Ashley Blumenfeld.

FORT WORTH, March 18, 2024 – Planning is underway for the annual Tarrant County Heart Ball, with co-chairs Lauren East and Lauren Duke joining honorary chairs Ben Rosenthal and Ashley Blumenfeld. Together, they are leading efforts across the region. This elegant event celebrates the progress made through the dedication and passion of all those who invest in the Tarrant County region and support the American Heart Association’s annual efforts to save lives.

This year’s efforts focus on addressing and preventing childhood cardiovascular disease to ensure more children have the opportunity to live full and healthy lives. An estimated 1 million children and 1.3 million adults are survivors of congenital heart disease (CHD), and the Society has committed significant research funding to advancing CHD science to save lives. . Honorary chairs of this year’s Tarrant County Heart Ball are Ben Rosenthal and Ashley Blumenfeld, who said they are proud to continue to support advances in science and public health. They did so as third-generation supporters to honor their grandparent, who suffered from heart disease, and began a long association with the Rosenthal family and the association’s Fort Worth division. As current co-presidents of Standard Meat Company, the family business that gave Fort Worth’s Cowtown its name, they are aligned with the impact the association’s Tarrant County team has in addressing nutrition and food security in the region.

The 2024 Heart of Tarrant County Heart Ball will be held on Saturday evening, May 4, 2024, at River Crest Country Club in Fort Worth.
