JACC: Case Reports is one of 10 journals on ACC’s JACC journal platform. Tang is widely known for pioneering innovative concepts and techniques in TAVR, setting modern standards in the field. His impressive international academic collaborations include establishing multiple global registries and training cardiac teams in structural cardiac imaging and procedures around the world. His research focuses on comprehensive management of patients after TAVR, transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve interventions, and advanced imaging techniques in structural heart disease.

In addition to serving on the Heart Valve Collaboratory committee and several structural heart clinical trials, he also serves on the ACC Scientific Publications Committee. He is also a member of his ACC/STS TVT Research and Publication Committee, a four-time recipient of the JACC Simon Duck Award for outstanding scholarship, and is an associate editor of Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions.
