Ticker management should be a top priority throughout the year, but everyone should pay special attention to heart issues in February. It’s National Heart Month.
Heart disease can affect anyone. Don’t shut up about silent killers.
Fact: Heart disease is the number one cause of death for women, killing one in three women each year. That means about one woman dies every minute.

“What makes an event are the people who attend it. A good cause. A good group of people. A lot of fun!” Donny added.
John V. Mundy gave heartfelt comments.
“Thank you for this effort to help people with all types of heart disease. My late wife, Anne, was so helpful to people in her life that it is most appropriate to remember her. Those who knew her “Everyone will attest to that,” he said.
Deaths from heart disease and stroke have decreased slightly, but both diseases remain among the leading causes of death in the United States, new federal statistics reveal. Increased mortality rates among young Americans may be explained in part by the earlier onset of high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, and other diseases that can later lead to heart disease and stroke.
Risk of heart disease and stroke can be prevented through changes in behavior, access to health care, and management of high blood pressure, diabetes, and other risk factors.
AHA’s mission is to create healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease and stroke.
PS There is no such thing as a little heart attack.
