Carroll County residents living with heart failure will no longer have to travel to Baltimore or other locations outside the county to receive specialized heart failure treatment. A heart failure clinic opens this week at Carroll Hospital in Westminster, giving them access to a team of experts at LifeBridge Health Heart and Vascular Institute.

This new clinic will be more convenient for Carroll County patients and encourage them to seek better overall management of their disease. The cornerstone of this specialty clinic is the ability to streamline care through structured, routine visits and the ability to provide coordinated care and comprehensive services close to home.

“Heart failure patients benefit from frequent monitoring and evaluation, allowing early detection of changes in their condition.
