Dr. Charles “Chuck” Murray, director of the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine (ISCRM) and long-time faculty member at the University of Washington School of Medicine, has been appointed director of stem cell research at Southern University’s Keck School of California. medical university. Murray’s lab has focused on the potential of stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes to regenerate living tissue and aid recovery from heart failure.
